Nicole Flynn, LCSW
Trauma & EMDR Specialist
About Me & My Experience:
I’m a trauma therapist with over ten years of experience helping adults heal from painful experiences and reconnect with themselves. My work centers on the lasting effects of childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect, and the ways these experiences continue to shape how we feel, relate, and move through the world.
Many people come to me feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer make sense. Together, we slow things down, support the nervous system, and gently process what has been held inside—building real, grounded safety and a clearer relationship with yourself.
My clinical approach integrates EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work, grounded in an attachment-focused and trauma-informed lens.
Alongside individual therapy, I also facilitate an eight-week therapy group for women healing from sexual trauma. The group blends EMDR principles, somatic tools, and gentle parts work to support regulation, resilience, and connection.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. Before starting my private practice, I worked in community mental health and trauma recovery programs supporting survivors of violence and complex trauma. My style is warm, attuned, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection—both with ourselves and with others.
